Hi there! Unfortunately, the digitized version of the LSJ that I'm using isn't always perfect. Some entries are corrupted. You can help me out by sending me the titles of entries that are incomplete so I can repair them.

Hi Harry.

I'm running an iPod Touch on the newest iPhone software.

I've noticed something troubling throughout the months that I've been using this excellent app. It seems that a lot of dictionary entries are severely abbreviated from the print version of the LSJ, some to the point of not even including the definition. This happens primarily with less common words, which is particularly troubling when I'm reading someone like Hippocrates and trying to figure out what the heck he is saying.

You mentioned above that this is a problem with the LSJ file from Perseus? I was worried that it might be something wrong on my end of things.

There are still some transcription problems with the LSJ text produced by the Perseus Project. Thanks for your message; I'll correct that entry for the next version of Lexiphanes and pass it along to the fine folks at Perseus.

As to the on-device parsing function, yes, that will be a premium feature :) It won't take much space at all, though (perhaps 1 megabyte per language), as I have a remarkable new method for computerized parsing. Details to come.

Hi Harry.

I'm running an iPod Touch on the newest iPhone OS, but my problem is a minor one that has to do with the dictionary file you used to make this awesome app. The entry for epitimao (pardon my transliteration) is blank. I had to lug out the Great Scott to look it up. Sad times.

Also, I think you oughtn't to waste your time or the memory space on my iPod with any sort of parsing function in this app. if some lousy undergrad wants a dictionary that does all the work for them, I say you should make a different app and charge them more.
